During the current 2022-2023 campaign, steps have continued to be taken in the advisory work that was being carried out in the 42 farms participating in the project.
The actions carried out in 2021-2022 have continued, relating to flow and pressure uniformity tests in the monitored sectors, water-soil-plant nutritional analysis and monitoring of irrigation recommendations through the Irristrat application.
However, in this campaign the activity has been intensified with monitoring of the irrigation sector itself, humidity measurements that help determine field capacity and calculation of optimal irrigation pulses, measurement of electrical conductivity and pH to help to optimize your fertilization, comparative nutrition analysis and weekly sending of irrigation and water use recommendations.
In this sense, it should be noted that the farms are taking a very active part in the progress of the project.
In the same way, it is worth noting the interest shown by the farmers of the farms advised to learn more about the LIFE 4DOÑANA on-demand irrigation solution with which work is already being done on the demonstration farms. To this end, they have participated in various field visits organized exclusively for them.
